Hi everyone! Apologies that I’ve been missing in action lately. As you know, I was in Manado with my dad and his family a few weeks ago. That was a much-needed catch-up and I was so pleased that it went really well, that everything was cleared up to make room for peace and so much more. After that, classes and assignments are starting to really gain traction. However, I’m happy for the change of speed because that means a Master’s degree is clearly underway and is THAT much closer with passing time. Never Deprive Yourself

We live in a health-conscious world, which I’m all for because how are we supposed to indulge in life without a well-fed, and nutritionally equipped body? But then again, I always try to take a step back when it seems like we’re depriving ourselves of balance with sustenance. These days, we tend to feel so guilty of being indulgent with what we put in our stomachs, so much that we are oblivious to the fact that we have the power of handling food in moderation. The Kick of Minahasa Cuisine: Manado #1

With constant blue skies and that faint smell of the sea that is somehow much more potent than any coastal city I’ve visited, the city of Manado in Northern Sulawesi is actually much more alluring in its appeal than we let slip under our noses.
